چکیده
Monitoring and detecting individual cows' liveweight (LW) change (LWC) are important for estimation of nutritional requirements health management, could be useful to measure short-term feed intake, water consumption, defecation, urination. Walk-over weighing (WOW) systems can facilitate measurements LW these purposes, providing automated recorded at different times the day. We conducted a field study (1) quantify contribution as well urine feces excretions, LWC (2) determine feasibility stationary WOW scales detect subtle changes in result urination, defecation. In this experiment, 10 cows walked through system then stood individually on scale collecting weights 3.3 Hz, respectively. Cows were offered 4 kg scale. For each animal, before after eating drinking was calculated using approaches. Liveweight difference between initial final statistical measure. The defecation measured used predictors LWC. Urine collected from while cow scale, container, weighed separately. agreement either or assessed sensitivity coefficient determination (R2), Lin's concordance correlation (CCC), mean bias. prediction model showed that most regression coefficients not significantly +1.0 water, −1.0 feces. R2 CCC values demonstrated satisfactory ranged 0.60 0.92 0.71 0.94, A moderate achieved with 0.45 0.63 0.74, Therefore, results new algorithms data processing methods need continuously explored improved obtain accurate LW, especially scales.

15 صفحه اولInvestigation of Biological and Economic Changes in Herd of Dairy Cows Using Optimization Models
The aim of this study was to identify the factors affecting the culling of dairy cows and their impact on reproductive performance and costs of the herd so that optimal decisions can be made in replacing dairy cows and thereby increase the annual income of dairy cattle. For this purpose, data collected from four active cattle breeding units in Ardabil province (including biological parameters a...

Political science provides two very different takes on how the information revolution affects the relationship between governments and global civil society. The more popular and prominent argument is that the Internet dramatically lowers the costs of networked communication; therefore, civil society groups are better able to mobilize action to influence governments. Four experiments were performed to determine whether cooling cows during final maturation of oocytes and early embryonic development or injection of vitamin E at AI prevented adverse effects of heat stress on pregnancy rates in lactating Holstein dairy cows. In Experiment 1, cows were placed in a cooling facility containing sprinklers and forced ventilation or received shade only from 2 to 3 d ...
